One blustery night, Odessa was in her cabin, preparing to go on her long journey through the eerie cliffs to see her family on the mythical island. She didn’t know that they had vanished and that something was waiting for her. The homely cabin croaked as the wind howled around it and she awaited her journey. Going north as she travelled south through the maze-like path, she headed in a direction nobody had been before. She didn’t know it was cursed.

As she left, her cabin begged her not to leave. She hadn’t left the safety of the forest in decades. As her journey began, she heard the trees screaming and the wind howling. Ahead of her, the path twisted and turned. She looked at her compass, but it was stolen by the storm. She looked down, and there was a cheetah. The cheetah handed her a letter, and she was confused. She didn’t know that the cheetah had been sent on a mission.

As she kept walking, thunder rumbled in the distance. The cheetah chuckled as they entered the narrow cliffs. The cheetah screamed, and thunder began to rumble. Odessa was so confused. As she settled down to sleep, her ears remained alert.

The next morning, Odessa set off through the cliffs, and the cheetah followed. With a scream, she stared at the storm. A hurricane. The path started to fill with water, and the rocks began to crumble. It was as though a bulldozer had cracked the rocks apart.

Suddenly, it stopped. She looked around, and now her pet horse was beside her as they walked home.

They didn’t want danger to come.
